This is the first of a series of three-dimensional, round, entwined pieces I am creating. As with all the other pieces in the Entwined Collection, I incorporated several species of select hardwoods matched by their color, texture, and grain. Patterns are created by making precision cuts and gluing the pieces together. This process is repeated many times to complete this piece.
